In Cape Verde, preparing Boavista’s airport for the future

Last July we returned, once more, to airports - this time in Boavista island, Cape Verde. The contract was signed for the "Supervision of the construction contract for the rehabilitation of the runway at Aristides Pereira International Airport". We are in a consortium NRV | NORVIA, Consultores de Engenharia SA (Portugal) / LMS Engenharia Lda (Cape Verde).
The undertaking should last seven months. The rehabilitation of the runway is intended to fit the traffic forecast for 2030. Among the works is the reinforcement of the pavement of the runway and taxiways, the demolition and replacement of the lighting system, the updating of the horizontal signalling and the rehabilitation of the drainage system.
