NRV is providing technical advice to the Municipality of Oeiras in the preparation of urban and regional planning studies within the scope of the implementation of the Municipal Master Plan (MMP) of Oeiras.
The goal is to bring the existing MMP in line with the land use classification specifications in the new legal framework. It is estimated that work on the elements of the amendment to the Plan and procedures for approval will be completed by July 2020.
The amendment is part of the strategy defined by the municipality to fulfil the potential for urban development. The idea is to position the municipality as a reference in the metropolitan region of Lisbon and both in the national and European context. In this sense, the Oeiras Valley brand was publicly presented to create an ecosystem of innovation, reinforcing the establishment of technology-based companies and ID Institutions in areas such as Information and Communication Technologies, Biotechnologies, Nanotechnologies, Renewable Energies, etc.
