We have news on the Airports section, in Africa: on one hand, work on the new Luanda International Airport is progressing at a good pace – the infrastructure will be ready to start operating by the end of 2023. NRV is part of the team responsible for the design review and construction supervision (all aspects related to the airside and air navigation systems included).
On the other hand, we are designing the rehabilitation of N’Djamena Airport in Chad, for which we were selected in a tender promoted by ASECNA. The rehabilitation of the pavements and the improvement of the drainage and signaling systems are the goals, as well as the study on the necessary modifications required so that this airport may be able to receive code E aircrafts (eg Boeing 747-400).
