Located in a former quarry and landfill that has been inactive since year 2000, this new distribution center involved reusing the products from the landfill, which required earthworks of almost 2 million cubic meters.
Over the course of 28 months, GEOVIA had a laboratory team dedicated exclusively to the project, monitoring landfills and assessing the strength of the concrete paving. Valued at around 110 million euros, this new distribution center will help improve the supply of Lidl stores in the central region.
