It’s been a week since we travelled to Cairo to integrate the Portugal-Egypt bilateral Joint Commission. NRV | Norvia was one of the 18 Portuguese companies at the meeting.
We also took part in the UFM Energy & Climate Business Forum, the first forum that brought together governments and companies from Mediterranean countries to think about solutions for the energy transition. The Portuguese Embassy in Cairo followed the two initiatives. Augusto Santos Silva, Minister of Foreign Affairs attended the first and the Secretary of State for Energy, Jorge Seguro Sanches, was present in the second. Since the end of 2016 we are in the country, in the management of the project of Jebal Resort, a tourist resort in the Red Sea – and the process of setting up a subsidiary is already in progress.
