On the island of Madeira, one of the new stretches of the Via Expresso - that now reaches São Jorge – was recently inaugurated.
The inaugurated stretch comprises the connection between the Ribeira de São Jorge and the centre of São Jorge (Santana) and has an extension of about 2300m. In total, the road link is 5,990m long and has three tunnels, three viaducts and three roundabouts.
NRV is part of the consortium responsible the construction supervision.
