BANCA FURADA DAM & NETWORK SUPPLY

Gravity dam in mortar bonded stone for water retention to supply agriculture watering, irrigating a total of 30 ha. Faveta dam characteristics:
. Maximum height above foundations of 41,3 m and crown with total length of 160 m;
. Bleeder sized for a maximum flow of 350,3 m³/s, consisting of a single free discharger (type Creager) by the discharge channel on the badges below the dam, ending a ski jumping hill;
. Bottom discharge (Ø500 mm) inserted in the dam body and sized for a maximum flow of 1,5 m³/s;
. Water intake for irrigation (Ø300 mm) in the upstream face of the dam.
The irrigation water system uses a main conduit in high density polyethylene (Ø90 mm), with 2 valves in high density polyethylene (Ø90 mm), one for each bank of the river.
