The Beira Interior Highway (A23) establishes a structuring link with the Spanish border through Vilar Formoso, crossing the country from Torres Novas to Guarda.

Ongoing contract for road condition surveying and pavement management system (PMS) of a highway 178 km long (28 intersections, 8 tunnels, 24 viaducts). Structural and functional monitoring of pavement characteristics, namely load capacity assessment (FWD tests); longitudinal irregularity (IRI), surface texture with laser equipment; and resistance measuring (Grip-Tester). Monitoring of daytime and nighttime visibility characteristics of road markings with Dynamic Retroreflectometer (Ecodyn) and resistance measuring with British Pendulum.
