CONTINENTAL BUILDINGS

Extension of Continental Mabor administrative building with an intervention of approximately 3.600m² and remodeling of Continental Pneus Portugal offices with about 900 m². The units are located in Lousado (the Continental Pneus Portugal integrated in Continental Mabor) and have great relevance in the North region - where the German multinational is one of the largest employers. Born in Hanover in the late 19th century, Continental is recognized worldwide as one of the top five suppliers in the automotive industry (tires, brakes, chassis, car safety and transport).
In the same year, the factory's production facilities underwent changes to increase production capacity - and administrative services had to keep up with that change. At Continental Mabor two floors will be built above the existing one with about 1.900m² which, at a later stage, will also be subject to remodeling. Increasing comfort and providing natural lighting and ventilation for all employees are the main goals.
The NRV|Norvia is responsible for the engineering projects of the various specialties, being the general coordination and the architecture project of Central Architects.
