LISBON AIRPORT - ECHO PLATFORM

Lisbon Airport, designated International Airport Humberto Delgado (ICAO code: LPPT), located in Lisbon, capital of Portugal, is the largest Portuguese airport.

Within the Lisbon Airport Expansion Plan a construction contract was launched in order to enhance ECHO platform. This construction contract included a new terminal, new aircraft parking areas as well as new taxiways.

Following pavement works, a bearing capacity evaluation was conducted with Falling Weight Deflectometer. Ths study included a back-analysis evaluation as well as a PCN classification.
