MADALENA DETAILED PLAN

Design of Madalena Detailed Plan, which covers an area of the city of Chaves with about 65 ha, located on the left margin of Tâmega River  and surrounds the historical center. The Plan is part of the POLIS program for Chaves city, which includes several projects for urban and environmental improvements funded by this program. This contract also included other projects for enhancing the urban environment and for infrastructures, equipment and spaces for collective usage, in particular:

• Landscape requalification of Caneiro Stream;
• Tâmega River Margins between Agapitos dyke and Engenheiro Barbosa Carmona Bridge;
• Tâmega River Left Margin between Engenheiro Barbosa Carmona Bridge and the Public Garden (Madalena Marginal);
• Bike lane of Tâmega Riverside.
