NEW STRETCHES OF EXPRESS ROADS

Construction of 5 new sections (Fajã da Ovelha/Ponta do Pargo, Variante Madalena do Mar, Variante Meia Légua, Ribeira de S. Jorge/Boaventura e Boaventura/S. Vicente) with a 1x1 carriageway that will complement the Madeira island road network in the north-east and south-west coasts. With a total length of 30 km, these sections include 15 tunnels with a total length of 20 km and 13 bridges/viaducts. The works included road design, drainage, pavement, signaling & security, retaining walls, public lighting, etc.
