PORTA DOS FIGOS MANOR - ARTISTS RESIDENCE

The Porta dos Figos Manor is contiguous to the northern section of the Castle wall and Figos door, which relevant elements are:
• the west and north fronts;
• the outside staircase and ambulatory;
• the exterior cylindrical stairway that connects the ambulatory with Cantinho Street, outside the Castle wall.
The reconversion of the Porta dos Figos Manor will allow the autonomous and simultaneous coexistence of two relevant equipment for the Lamego Castle dynamization:
• Crafts and Traditional Crafts Center 
• Artist Residency
The Craft Center will be in the new levels - 1, 2 and 3 - which relevant spaces are the shop-exhibition, the training room, the research room and the workshop with direct connection to the patio.
The Artists Residency will be in the new levels - 3 and 4 - where the living spaces (north views), two rooms (Figos Tower views) and the oratory as a living room and library.
