S. FRANCISCO ROAD

Access road to the S.Francisco village with an extension of 6,5 km and a two way platform. The works included earth works, walls construction for soil contention, drainage, pavement on asphalt layer, signing and road marks. There were performed 23 water passages, metalic and concrete, with diameters between 1 and 3 meters; retaining walls in mortared local stone; 5.172km of ditches with widths between 0,6m and 1,0m. About 370.000m³ were excavated, which 37% were in rock, 240.000m³ of landfills were placed, about 10.600m³ of ABGE were placed in the base layer with 20 cm, and 53.240m² of asphalt were placed in the wear layer with 5 cm thick. The work also had a roundabout in order to provide a way to the village of S. Francisco and S. Tomé.
