Project to supply drinking water to people in villages and gross water for livestock watering and agricultural irrigation in Chitima Valley. The water supply system provides water supply for a maximum population of 152.000 inhabitants in 2041 design horizon.
Includes the construction of water catchment raft structure on the Bayou of Cahora Bassa Dam with a capacity of 270 m3/h and power for 56 kW, one pumping station up to 180 m3/h and 200 kW of power, elevating conduct with 44 km and 600 mm in diameter, two reservoirs of gross water with 1.000 m3 and 7.500 m3 capacity, one treated reservoir of 2.500 m3 capacity, one water treatment station with capacity for 540 m3/h, gravitational conduct with 4,5 km long and 315 mm diameter and about 20 km of distribution pipes with diameters between 315 mm and 90 mm.
