Rehabilitation of the seafront in Luanda Island in order to solve traffic constraints and the planning of urban development for the next 20 years. Beach rehabilitation was also considered allowing its usage by the population. Detailed Design of Drainage and Pumping Systems in Luanda Island and Chicala, to serve 40.000 inhabitants (30.000 inhabitants in Luanda Island and 10.000 in Chicala). The physical infrastructure of the studied and designed system involves the following main works:
Nine (9) pumping stations of domestic sewage, medium and large. (The 260 Q = 25 l / s and Hman mCA = 7 to 12);
5 Km of lifting pipes with diameters between Ø200 and Ø560mm;
9.50 Km of gravity wastewater collectors with diameters between Ø200 and Ø630mm;
13 km of gravity rainwater collectors with diameters between Ø315 and Ø800mm.
