We highlight the new winery of Lavradores de Feitoria. The Portuguese company continues to grow after, in 2017, it was elected by north-american Wine Spectator as one of the “30 Producers to Discover in the World”.
Growth and internationalization required a new path with streamlining of processes, (re) organization of spaces and a new focus on the areas of marketing and wine tourism. The new cellar, with a total area of 3,817 m2, aims to meet these needs with two buildings. The first will serve wine production (with external areas for receiving and dispatching wines) and will have spaces dedicated to oenology, such as the laboratory and the technical tasting room. The second, more compact, will have the barrels, the wine cellar and the tasting room.
The architecture is by Belém Lima with NRV in charge of the engineering design and construction supervision.
