NRV’s Infrastructure Management team developed and delivered a tailored training programme for the new António Agostinho Neto International Airport (AIAAN) in Luanda, focused on airport pavement monitoring and runway certification.
Throughout April and May, more than 20 years of expertise were shared — from the theoretical principles of friction coefficient assessment using the GripTester MKII to its operation, calibration and maintenance.
The key differentiating factor was the hands-on training in a real operational environment, directly on the runway, allowing participants to apply their knowledge in practice. A practical approach designed to strengthen technical skills, ensure accuracy and support the safe certification of airport infrastructures.
