The Aga Khan Academy in Maputo will provide an international education for initially 750 pupils. The Academy will be located in the 22ha site in Matola and the site wide infrastructure will be designed to allow the expansion of the teaching and residential accommodation to increase the total pupil numbers to 1200. The Academy will offer schooling from the age of 3 to 18 in the Nursery, the Junior Academy and Senior Academy. The Phase 1 works will provide approximately 28,000m2 of teaching, residential, sporting, administrative and support accommodation.
