FARO AIRPORT

International Airport (ICAO code: LPFR) located in the south of Portugal, in the tourist region of Algarve and is located aproximatly 7km away from the city of Faro. It is the third airport in Portugal with the highest traffic and has a runway (10/28) with 2,490 meters long and 45 meters wide by which it is enabled to accommodate all types of airplanes.

Project consisted of the rehabilitation / reinforcement of 10-28 runway pavement with SMA (Stone Mastique Asphalt). It also included some complementary works such as runway signaling painting, repositioning of runway lights, grill substitution and anti-corrosion treatment of FAA supports.
